It's a harbor

There are boats, and a goofy little restaurant that has good sandwiches and wine to sip on. I mean... guys, it's a harbor.

Lovely harbor with a mixture of boats. There's not a lot going on, but it's still a pleasant walk and nice to sit and admire the different types of boats that are moored there.

It makes for a lovely stroll, while you're on the côté D'Azur to visit the harbor in Villefranche. The fishermen pull into the harbour with their catch, you can buy it straight off the dock.

There are 2 ports in Villefranche - the most commonly visited is close to the train station adorned with the traditional old yellow, pink, orange buildings with restaurants lining the waterfront. This is the idyllic setting and shouldn't be missed. Old town sits right above the boardwalk. The other port to visit is a short walk along the cement/rock walkways... More

A nice harbor which I just love eating breakfast and dinner at while in Villefranche. No need to rush, just take things slow and appreciate the french way of life. Many restaurants to choose from you cant go too wrong with any of them.

We visited Villefranche on our recent cruise and thought it was a beautiful little town. The harbour area is stunning, the road is lined with small bars, cafes and restaurants and the harbour is filled with small boats and yachts. The buildings climb up the hillside behind the harbour and are typical French "shabby chic"

This harbour is very typical of a small french harbour. Its pretty quite at least is was when we were there in October 2016. Its probably better in the Summer.

We visited as part of a cruise and would certainly go back. It was beautiful, friendly and full of cafes and shops. Highly recommended
