I haven't visited any exhibition held in the Villa Mediterrannee so I can review only the building itself and it's external appearance. Amazing bold architecture using modern advanced technology. Together with a neighboring MUCEM the most remarkable pieces of modern architecture in Marseille.

Villa Mediterrannee is unique for its construction. The building is huge but supported only from one side. The exhibitions are good .

It is an exhibition centre. Its outside architecture is the main attraction. I visited one architecture exhibition and it was ok.

I really enjoyed that the food was fresh, homemade, refined and with fabulous taste! To me, this all came across as being authentic. Small menue with daily changing dishes, depending on availabilty. Super staff who know their job. To top it all: great location!

The building itself is novel. The long cantilevered upper floor is spectacular. When we visited, there was a good exhibition about the history of the Mediterranean Sea and the role it has played in travel between continents.

Interesting overhang on the building which is worth seeing in it's own right. Another modern building in the Panier district so quite a contrast. Plenty of oudoor space and a nice area to wander round.

This is a fine building overlooking part of the harbour: an unusal construction, interesting in its own right and a platform for some good photos. It houses a varied cultural and topical program at various times in the year, but its overt rationale is a...More

The building housing the Villa Mediterrane is worth a visit for its unusual architecture and location. But the exhibit inside is disappointing. The exhibit covers various aspects of marine life, history, biology and ecology. There are many filmed interviews, film clips, moving images as well...More
