Best cocktail bar in Marseille. Amazing speakeasy idea in this city ambiented in the old 20's. A bit pricey compared with other similiar bars around Europe but still good. The only detail, some cocktails are served in hawaiaan glasses, even knowing that those cocktails are...More
I have always like the speakeasy concept and to get to the Carry Nation's bar you need a code to get inside a souvenir shop so it is well done. Cocktails are a bit expensive but worth it. Staff is very caring and nice even...More
I love to look for special bars to drink well-made cocktail.
This is one of my favourite.
Bar tenders were able to prepare exactly the cockail I was wandering to have.
Moreover, we also played the Hat Game....to have a surprise cocktail..
I went to Carry Nation (address kept secret unless you book :-)) to celebrate our engagement with friends!
I really liked the way we had to enter the bar through... a closet! I loved the Prohibition theme too! What I really liked was the fact...More

Try this place, you'll be delighted. The 18th amendment theme, code included with reservation. It feels like a true speakeasy. The drinks are exquisite. The bartenders are experts at their craft. Enjoy the experience. The process is part of the fun.
Really glad we found this! Make sure you call in advance for the secret code though. Staff were really fun and happy to find the right cocktail for you! Most people were dressed up 1920s, but we weren't and it didn't matter. Would definitely return!
The "speakeasy" theme is a bit kittenish (especially when you forget to bring the code) but otherwise all fine: Committed staff, excellent drinks, nice place, excellent value. I loved the "Ginger Mojito"...
Highly recommended! Will come back!
Part of the fun lies in the concept, and about the surprise.
If you have never been there, and if you trust my advice, all you have to know is that you'll get the best cocktails in Marseille. The team is very inventive, with an...More
Visited the bar in May and found it a fantastic experience.
Sticking with the prohibition theme, entry is through reservation only. The front of the bar is masked as a souvenir shop bit once inside you go through 2 back curtains and emerge in a...More
