So calm and very unusual interesting fountain. Situated in the city center of Salon de Provence, facing the medieval old town

We loved sitting at the café at the fountain for sundowners, watching the birds come to drink, children dipping their fingers. The mounds of dripping ferns make for astunning, tranquil spot,

Interesting overgrown fountain. There are quite similar fountains in Provence, but this one can be seen too.

Trip adviser ratings go from Average straight to VERY good. I note this is No1 of 19 Salon attractions. It's an overgrown fountain. Adjacent restaurants worth a visit as M Michelin would say.

This is a very unique example of a maidenhair fern that has overgrown a very old fountain and is an amazing display of perseverance and preservation!

Lovely fountain with possibilities to have a coffee right next to it. Worth a stop if you are going through the city center.

I have been traveling to Aix-en-Provence for several times and I always want to visit this beautiful fountain and the markets around in Salon-de-Provence. Great experience!

Pondered this ancient courtyard fountain while having a drink at the café. It's not beautiful, really, but worth learning more about.
