We strolled and shopped for a couple of hours. Found meter parking relative close since we got there around 8:45. Great inexpensive fruits, fantastic farm eggs, lovely cheese and saucisson sec selection. The olives were great too. The paella at the end of the market...More

Worth a trip to experience the Wednesday AM markets. GO early to find any parking. Tried a bland Paella on the south side, then salads, and gelato. Live music on the northern side.

Seemed more for tourists than locals. We wanted to buy food for meals and that was limited. Saturday market was smaller but similar. Lots it fabric, clothing and accessories.

What's so amazing about this market are the different aspects: local food, sea food, fresh prepared dishes, textiles and cloths, flowers and vegetables but also utensils, souvenirs de Provence etc. Secondly inviting terraces and brasseries, serving wonderful lunch or bodega's calling for wine tasting. The centre of St Remy is covered with vendors selling everything from clothing and shoes to fruits and vegetables to soaps, knives and much much more. Very pleasant, the vendors aren't pushy, and the prices are reasonable.
