Last massif before the Mediterranean Sea, the Alpilles are lighted up with thousands of glints. On its northern side, between Saint- Rémy-de-Provence and Eygalières, nature has fortuitously drawn a triumphant "V". A geological breach that creates a...more

We attended Chateau Romanin to visit their cave cellar, but unfortunately we were not told we had to make an appointment and there were no exceptions. It was disappointing to miss but we did taste some nice wines and purchased a couple of bottle. 20...More

We have a second home in Provence and Chateau Romanin has been one of our favorite Provençal wineries for many years. Today we went wine gathering (having just arrived in Provence for the summer) and were totally put off by their slick, new, modernized tasting...More

Commercial winery, we couldn’t see much due to them processing grapes during our time there. Very meager pours and had to ask multiple times to try various wines, but we did purchase several. Meh

We did a tasting and tour. It was spectacular! Very good wine and the winery is beautiful! Unbelievable architecture. Great service - we were even able to arrange home delivery of the wine to saint remy as we were on bike.

Visited the winery today on a whim after touring St Paul de Mousole since it’s close to Saint Rémy and the rain had cleared. Because we just walked in, the staff was very accommodating and called up Xavier to give us a tour. He showed...More

The wine cellar, a spectacular cave/cathedral-cellar, is underground and covered in earth. Hollowed out of the rock, we were told it was designed in the image of the Gothic cathedrals: columns, capitals, ribbed vaulting, all combining to create the space as builders centuries ago might...More

Very nice visit to this beautiful winery. The environments and views are superb. The wine tasting was great even though I never really liked drinking red wine, the selection presented suits my tastes.

This is a beautiful place to visit. In a side of a hill. We were the only ones there on a rainy day so we got a little private tour and tasting. Good wine.

The place is a bit far from the main road indeed, you can't find a gem without digging! The cave is beautiful, brand new wine tanks, a cave dug in the rocks, Romanin has its own character and is making an considerable investment to keep...More

We usually make this stop number one after our arrival in St. Remy to purchase some much anticipated Rose. Look for the specially priced year old Rose which provides superb value. The staff is very hospitable in a very comfortable setting. A must for all...More

We arrived near closing and asked to see “the cave”. This winery is in a unique setting and the gravel roads that lead to the cave are scenic – including watching gliders circling the valley and landing on the grassy airstrip. As noted by others,...More
