At home you pay a fortune for this but here, you get it for free. And right at the source! Remember to bring an empty bottle to fill it up.

The impressive Art Nouveau building is a worksite and seems to be closed for extensive renovations. Glimpses of the fine stained glass windows can be obtained through the uphill entrance if you ignore the French signage. The Evian source across the street, with it's attractive tile work, is still fully accessible.Checkout the amazing tree in the garden above it.

A very refreshing moment. That's all i can say about the Evian water source. A public location near the funicular station. Have a sip of Evian water and hop on board the funicular to get to the Top!

You should pass over and read the history about tha source. It is interresting, the water is nice and cold in a hot summer day.

Evian gave the name to the famous mineral water, whose story started when some local noble (a baron?) was sick and started to heal only when he started to drink only water from Evian's springs. Today there is a big palace - the Buvette Cachat, of the finest Art Nouveau style, and IMO the nicest palace in Evian, where all... More

Well, you just have to see the "source" of the water that everyone knows the name of - but once you've seen it - that's it!

A lovely spring with history and cool water! The backdrop has just been redone as a mosaic and is very pretty. You can catch the funiculaire down or up to it! Take and empty water bottle. You need to go to the Cachat pump room before or after visiting to get the story of the journey etc of the water,... More

Something you have to do if you visit Evian. Its really just a faucet in a wall but of course its not ordinary water. Great for the locals get it free. Always seems to be folks queuing to fill endless bottles. I bet the local shops don't sell much bottled water :-)

An interesting stop over, like travelling in time to the days of Evian "heights". Nicelz refurbished, does not take a lot of time to see it all.
