This park is one of the biggest in Grenoble. You can enjoy a nice picnic, play a sport, take a nap, read a book, or take some fresh air while riding your bike or running. The only thing is that at night it is dark and hosts gangs. Some time ago someone was killed there. Just be careful and do not go alone.

This is a seasonal parc and the attractions vary by season. During the summer there are great facilities for children. Exhibitions arenheld here from time to time and the parc is extensively used for exercising.

It's a really quiet and calm park. On the weekends, you can see the locals play the Patanque. That's about it! Ofc, you can see the mountains, but you can see that from anywhere in the city, so really, it isn't a must visit. But if you want to relax and spend some time, then this would be perfect!

Nice spot for pic-nic, resting... We also spent some time with the kids at the playground... You can do whatever you want and you don't feel like your are in a city :-)

I went to Grenoble on a trip down memory lane so each place had a significance. The student accommodation where I lived in 2004-2005 , Maison des Etudiants, was knocked down. But the park beneath it remains. It truly is a beautiful park. There is some graffiti but that is more down to the people than the nature and beauty of the park.

We went for a walk in the park and were pleasantly surprised to see Squirrels running around...Bring some walnuts and they'll sometimes come and eat out of your hand. There's also an outdoor skating area.

Lack of light, felt unsafe after dark, even early. Not a good place to go for a stroll even during the day, rather unpleasant and not pretty. Tower shut down and in poor state of repair. Awful washrooms etc... stay away.

Nice park to walk or run but that's almost all you can do. There aren't attractions and there is just a refreshment point (a little bar with big prices).

As we stay across from the park, we love having a 30-45 minute walk in the park, sitting at the bench, having a cup of coffee or tea. Its beautiful all year round.

It's a really nice place for you to go with friends. The bar (La Bobine) has a good menu (price and choices), as far as beer is concerned, and even for finger food it's a nice place too, which happens to be a nice option, when we think of France. Enjoy it! Ah!!! Make sure you use the bathroom before it gets crowded bcause you can spend some crucial minutes in line...hehe
