Great way to have an overview of the city of Lyon. You can clearly see the old parts of the city with their tiled roofs and the more modern areas as well as the Rhone & Saone Rivers

From here you can see the entire valley and all the way to the Alps. There is a tramway to the top or a local bus or you can walk up the hill if in good shape. Better to walk down !

Most people take the special metro to the top, but the climb is fun and not that hard. You'll be accompanied by lizards all the way. And you'll have a nice workout. The view is amazing and all the top things to do are nearby.

There are some great views of the city on top of this hill at the cable car station. You can the stroll to the amphitheatre ruins and go downhill though a rose garden. It's a pleasant experience

Same answer as above as it`s quiet steep but if it folds you can fit it on the funicular. Good luck.
