I went to Freiburg on weekend of 26th Jan 2019. I had gone to hike Black forest on the next day sunday and i passed through munster. I was amazed by the architecture of the place. Very amazing.

We stayed at Zum Roten Baren, an old guest house on Oberlinden. It was very comfortable there, and very central.

they generally close around noon, on saturday's at 2pm but most of the "good stuff" is already gone before ;)
