We have been here many times. Often just to watch the world go past. Summer, spring, autumn or winter always full and of interest.

Around the Cathedral a very local products market. From the farms and the mountain you have all greens and fruits ..saussages and cheeses. In the old town you can from there discover the old streets..do not forget to eat one of those grilles saussages. .

This large open area is the site of a huge outdoor market on Saturday. The cafes and restaurants around the perimeter are open on both Saturday and Sunday, although the platz itself is empty on Sunday. There are frequently musicians playing here and there.

Visiting on a quiet Sunday morning, this is a beautiful square next to the cathedral. Our guide confirmed that almost all of the area was leveled by Allied bombing in 1944, so most buildings are accurate reconstructions of what existed.

We stayed at Zum Roten Baren, an old guest house on Oberlinden. It was very comfortable there, and very central.
