Very nice and neat museum, I highly recommend going there. You will learn so much about the town's culture, including clothing, music, artifacts, etc.

This museum is a treasure house of local history. From clocks, jewelry and clothes to furniture, music boxes and life-size dolls of artisans at work, they have got every bit of history covered. The interesting exhibits apart, do check out their display of instruments. There...More

It's bigger than it looks from the outside. There are many different exhibits with enough English descriptions to give you the necessary information.

We really enjoyed this museum. I knock it down one rating only because the routing through the museum was confusing and there were things that were supposed to play for a euro or two and they didn’t and no out of order sign was posted....More

The displays of musical instruments was fascinating. The exhibits are educational and entertaining. Try all of the automatic, self-playing instrument displays.

Husband and children were very leery about visiting a museum while we were in the Black Forest. However we did not get disappointed by this one! I do recommend paying the one or two euros to make the amazing and beautiful player pianos work.

A little disappointed as there was nothing to help non-German speakers and finding your way around was a nightmare. Having said that it has a very eclectic collection of Black Forest paraphernalia ranging from clocks, music pieces, housewares, sporting equipment, fashion, rocks and cakes. Some...More

It appears small from outside but is quite large inside. There are many good exhibitions in this museum. Too bad it does not have enough English descriptions for people who do not know Germen.

This museum is located approximately 100 meters up the street from the entrance to the Triberg Waterfalls and is well worth the diversion. The exhibits, including many artifacts, costumes and models tell the story of the culture and peoples of the region. There are also...More
