This view is fantastic for the fairy tale view of the castle but also for the rugged falls and rocks under the bridge. There is a bit of walking but we did not find it to be extremely strenuous and the view is worth the...More

The Queen Mary's Bridge (Marienbrucke) is a tourist attraction, built in 1845. it's popular because it's the best views point of Neuschwanstein castle.

The view is so worth it. There is a little bit of a hike to get to the bridge itself but once there, just take in the view.

We hiked passed Castle Neuschwanstein for beautiful views and to admire the bridge spanning across the impressive gorge.

Are we allowed to go to this bridge without touring the castle? I'm only interested in the view, no time for castle.
