Wonderful walk

This was a lovely gentle walk through the gorge and if you go through to the end you can turn up a hill and return to where you started via some stunning meadows.

This is beautiful and worth seeing. It is a round trip and we learnt the hard way which route to take. Go UP in the cable car at the entrance, then down the path to the far end of the gorge. We went along the gorge then walked up a very steep track to the top of the cable car!

The area is gorgeous! Bring walking shoes, a poncho, and some euro for snacks and souvenirs. There are many trails to take.

We hiked at night with torches. The firelight provided the frozen ice an additional sheen. This area generates an incredible natural beauty, and it's worth a visit if you're in the area.

Stopped by over Christmas break and brought the dog. The trail was a bit more muddy than I had hoped but all in all, it was an easy walk. The trail is tight so a few times there are some traffic jams. It was a very cold day and most of the falls were frozen so it was really neat.

My family loves outdoor adventures and this walk along the gorge was one of our favorites to date. Park in the lot near the ski stadium and when facing the stadium, walk right. You will walk for at least 20 minutes until you reach the park entrance to the Partnachklamm. It's truly a magical place with the greenish blue water,... More

It is worthwhile to visit it , still you need to be dressed really good because due to minus degrees and humidity cold is a serious issue The scenery amazing, it was a lovely experience

This is a relatively easy walk. You can even walk there from downtown Garmisch. I recommend taking the trail up once through the gorge and grabbing lunch at the cafe along the trail.

In the winter the ice formations are out of disney land, in the summer there is a spiritual energy here that is palpable, climb up, or take the cable car up and walk to the restaurant further on, great goulash and snitzel.

We took a night tour of the Partnach Gorge just after Christmas. Unfortunately it was about 48 degrees out the night of the tour so all we really got to see was a few really big chunks of ice. As this was a torch carrying tour, it was difficult to see ANYTHING at night. Also, the torch wax ruined my... More
