The walk to to sight is easy and beautiful. Lots of farm animals to see and friendly Germans to talk to along the way. There are also a few coffees shops and restaurants around the area. Once you get there, take your time and enjoy the views. It's simply amazing

We went here this morning because it was already raining and reviews said we would get wet. We didn't get wet at all. Sure there are a few splashes but nothing to soak you down. The trail cost 4 euros and it was worth much more. This place is beautiful. Take a lot of pictures. You can return on the... More

You will really enjoy your time at Partnachklamm. Might get a little wet but it's not bad. You will walk through a couple of dark tunnels along the path. At the end of the Gorge it opens back up and there are quite a few hiking trails. Bring a bag with some snacks and water. There were young children that... More

We were too early to catch the carriage, so we had to walk quite a long way to get to the gorge, but the long walk was worth it! Be ready to get a little wet, but the rushing waters and the falls are definitely a must-see.

We took local bus near the Ga Pa railway station to Ski Station a short ride of about 15 mins. Entrance to the Patnachklamm gorge was another 20 mins walk. We have been to many gorges in Japan, America and Europe and we found this gorge gorgeous, fun to walk through with heavy showers. Suggest bring a raincoat or an... More

Walking through this amazing gorge is brilliant. However, if you are tall you will need to stoop periodically, and you may need to be patient when dealing with walkers coming in the opposite direction. Subsequent walks or hikes are available after the gorge, but you need to be aware that some of these routes are mighty steep. There are small... More

Great for a day out - wear sensible shoes and expect to get wet! It's a nice walk from the car park and doesn't matter if it rains!

While in Garmisch Germany our daughter recommended that we walk the gorge. it was spectacular. It was created by an ever flowing river that over millions of years cut a gorge through the mountain and opens up in a valley setting outside Garmisch
