Really charming like stepping back in time. Even tough there are two pools it was still hard to properly swim leaps but was there at a peak hour. Only one real...real sauna but quite some variety on hot air rooms and pretty steamroom. Extremely clean and was helped very well in finding my way. Definitely worth seeing

My son and I had a great swim in this magnificent old baths during a short family holiday in Munich. Afterwards we had brunch in the excellent cafe - a throughly enjoyable morning all round.

The Müllersche Volksbad (swimming pool) located at the middle town Munich at the beginning Rosenheimer street directly on the banks of the Isar River, is one of the most beautiful public baths in Europe. Today is still very popular with visitors.

Really well worth the 18€ entrance fee. Bring your own towel and flip flops (hotel slippers will be OK). The steam room was the best I ever used. Each hour there is a ceremony in the sauna will oil water, don't miss it but it gets really hot and you should not leave during this session which lasts around 5... More

There's no point denying it, this old world spa is expensive but it is simply beautiful. Nothing like it exists in the U.K. Take your own towel and pack some flip flops, this is a great place to unwind the morning after. Be warned though, it's not for the shy!

Love this pool for a real swim. The main pool is quite cold and good for a workout swim. There is a lion with water spurting from its mouth at the end of the pool . The second pool is warmer and not as deep for families mainly. Changing cubicles are overlooking the pool upstairs . Valuables lockers downstairs then... More

As mentioned in other reviews, there is no English signage & minimal signage in German (which I speak). If you don't know the procedure from a previous visit - too bad. You're on your own here. Like in other baths/spas in Germany there are two sets of lockers. The first is for your valuables and the second is for your... More

As a long time nudist who has lived in a land based club for twenty years I thought this would be a great place to relax during my trip to Munich. Sadly it turned out to be the low point of my entire trip to Europe. First I had a difficult time figuring out how to enter through the turnstyle... More

Beautiful swimming pools with a lot of sphere. It was a joy to be here, both for the body but also for the eyes. People come here for swimming and to enjoy the atmosphere. It is not a place to be if you like jumping and screaming and shouting. I think it was positive that they had kept and renovated... More
