Impressive architecture and interior that will mesmerise you. If you can visit mass to feel and hear the beauty of this religious symbol of Munich. Find the devil's footprint!

The structure is nice to see, but it was under repair when we visited. Very high structure and great place to visit.

Visited the church quickly (Mass was happening inside so I just looked around from the back). Gorgeous church that forms part of the beautiful skyline of Munich. The towers were under construction as of sept 2017, so taking a picture of the towers from right...More

This is a Munich landmark, the brickwork is fantastic but in terms of decoration it is my least favourite. Currently the towers are being worked on so unable to go to the top for the view. It is still a spectacular church inside but I...More

Frauenkirche is a well-known Munich landmark, with 2 soaring onion-domed towers visible from all over. Supposedly, no building in the centre can be taller. The south tower, which you can ascend, was closed for renovation when I visited and I did find the interior pretty...More

No disrespect intended, the outside is more impressive than the inside. One gets used to elaborate and lavish interiors with old churches in Europe. Frauenkirche in Munich is not one of those.

It's certainly worth a quick stop if you are in the area, but there are bigger and better in the area. Remember, on very hot days, you can easily cool down by visiting the church.

Lovely morning mass in light filled church. There is an excellent restaurant named Andechers am Dom in the shadow of the cathedral.

Don't know the answer to this. St. Peter is a good idea if you had a good preparation like a lunch or breakfast. I personally did not like the very narrow balcony, It is quite a challenge to pass between two people. But the... More

Thank you for your question. It has been a long time on, seems now to be removed. We will receive a visit from Boston this Summer so this is a place we aim to visit again.
