To visit this museum you need days. I went there with my wife and my son (age 4). We choose to visit the children's section, historic aviation, navy and astronomy. Lots of stuff to try and very nice expositions. Kids for free.

Even though we were presented with a map upon entry, it was very confusing to navigate through the museum. Regardless of that, the museum is a nice place to take photos (if you're into that kind of stuff), not as suitable for learning much. If...More

If you have any interest in science, nature, technology or why Germans are so good at engineering, go to this museum. With several hours.

Older kids and adolescents are going to love this museum provided you let them explore it by themselves and not teach them how to do it!! Let them explore pharmaceutics, mining, computing, astronomy, planetarium, aviation etc. and get back to share their experience. One of...More

I first visited in 1994 and spent hours here, so I hyped the Deutsches Museum to my family for our visit last week. Sadly, we were a bit disappointed. Yes, there is much to see and many interesting things. However, the layout is disjointed and...More

I spent an afternoon in the museum and there is a very extensive range of displays covering everything from mines to cosmology. Quite a few of the displays do not have English translations which was a problem for me
