Technology museum

A very interesting museum with a lot of different exhibits to look at. My husband really enjoyed it, as he is a engineer and loves anything to do about technology.

Hmm interesting museum. I don't think you would be here for days visiting each area. It is very diverse and for me I went there specifically for a few sections that are now closed for renovation until 2019. It is a technical museum as it states. The displays are large and quite comprehensive and unless you are interested in that... More

Absolutely fascinating!!! A riveting journey through technological advancement. The mines were were very authentic, although I have never been down a real one.The glass blowing was a sight to behold. The only drawback is that German isn't my mother tongue so failed to understand what was going on.

This museum would take several days to actually enjoy each and every exhibit, but every soul can find something amazing in this museum! There are things to do and see for kids of all ages. It is the Smithsonian of Germany and is worth at least a half day while in Germany. It is at the Isator stop on the... More

I wanted to say "best blokes museum ever" but without wanting to be sexist that is. It's probably the most awesome museum ever for a bunch of fantastic women who enjoy boats, pumps, glass, bricks, and everything on the other 4 floors we ran out of time for. We only had 2 hours and only got through level 1 and... More

Spent several hours here and there are some fascinating exhibits. Most have descriptions in English as well as German. Staring at the U-Boot and imagining life under the waves in those cramped conditions really gets the mind thinking. The Museum is a real mixture from transport to mines, from tools to ceramics, from astronomy to glass. Purists will wants more... More

I really enjoyed the museum. It is the best one I've been to with a good selection and lots of detail including interactive displays. I could easily have spent a day there.

I visited this place with two young children (7 and 10). We were all impressed with the size of the place. A lot of hands on activities to do, although many are in German and we didn't really know what they were trying to explain. Lots of models and replications of things which were pretty cool. The highlight was the... More

This was my second visit to this museum and it was as amazing the second time as the first. There is no describing how large this museum truly is. We spent 6 hours in the museum and still did not see it all. One of my favorites is the mines in the basement.
