As the name implies, Museum Stubl is in an authentic looking, but surely rebuilt, 18th century Bavarian pub. Bench seating, great menu choices. If you are looking for a Munich experience, this one is affordable and the staff speak English. No credit cards though. Slightly...More

I was quite excited to see the museum to find an endless collection of beer glasses and pictures of the Oktoberfest. The educational value is zero and the visit was rather boring. Apparently the museum is located in the oldest house of Munich! So that’s...More

There are a lot of areas for improvement here: the signage is not great, the flow is confusing, and the educational value is minimal. This is more of a cultural experience than anything else. The beer museum is small, and really just gives an overview...More

This is a small museum. It shows the bavarian beer tradition and gives some impressions of the Oktoberfest in Munich and the history. It's worth a visit.

Small, interesting museum, but the best part of the visit was the movie on the 3rd floor. Most of the important written information was translated to English, but much was only in German. I wanted to read the details as well. :) Afterwards you can...More

Earlier in the day I visited the Bier and Oktoberfest Museum to find that it was closed. I returned, and I learned that it would open at 1:00 PM. Around 3:30 PM I returned and found that it was open and looked inside; it appeared...More

Its been a couple years since I have been to this little museum and it still a great spot. Its not a big place but it has interesting displays and gives a brief history of beer in Munich. Downstairs you can get beer and food,...More

I ordered a soup of the day, they told me the Bavarian name of the soup and then I agreed: great error! The soup was a typical bavarian dish that I found horrible , so much that I left it aside (even in front of...More

We scoped this out on things to do in Munich and thought it was very appropriate. It's easy to get your hopes up since Oktoberfest and beer in Munich have a huge reputation. While this museum might be in a historically significant building and contain...More
