This is a beautiful palace on the outskirts of Munich. We arrived here on the hop on hop off bus and was a great stop. Large palace with beautiful gardens and grounds. We visited in November so the fountains were covered for winter but the...More

We were on a palace visiting tour. This palace was amazing and a must for all tourists. We had a tour guide for inside the palace who was very informative. Lovely grounds.

Bought the palace and grounds ticket. The main palace takes no more than 30 minutes to see, and includes interesting information about the Bavarian royal family over the years. The most impressive part is the so-called 'Gallery of Beauties' containing app. 30 or more portraits...More

Part of our Gate1 city tour. Interior was not included in tour. The gardens were great and gift shop and WC should not be missed.

We did not visit the inside of the palace however, we walked around the grounds. We really enjoyed the grounds as it was immaculate. We could have spent more time here but we had already had a long day.

Beautiful castle surrounded by outstanding gardens, lakes with swans and ducks, fountains, parks, caffeteria and more.. in the winter time there is an ice-skating on the frozen water channel available. Simply must see destination in Munich.

We took a cab ride out and a cab ride back. We were advised this was the most efficient way to and from.
