A very nice place close to U-bahn and very easy to be found. Tickets are at reasonable prices also there are family tickets if you travel with your family. There are a lot of animals who live in very natural areas. The bat cave is very interesting and also the aquarium. Recommend it! The only minus is that the information... More

We went with our 5 year old boy and it was very fun. It is very clean, the animals live in very nice areas. A lot of playgrounds for the children and places to rest. The only disadvantage is that everything is in German and if you don't speak it is a little disgusting. Recommend it!

This is so far the best zoo I have visited. With Large spaces for the animals and clean. A lot of spices can be seen and there are a lot of places to take a rest. A normal tour visit takes 5-6 hours.

A great day out for the family. Highlights include World of Apes, especially their collection of playful orang utans, the elephants, rhino, and the star of the show, the cute baby polar bear. Enclosures are large, modern and well-designed habitats for the animals, as far as zoos go. I guess if you have ethical objections to zoos you wouldn't come... More

The zoo was fairly cheap to get in, just €15 per adult. The primate section was easily the best part of it, with lots of cute babies. There was a large variety of animals and lots of the enclosures had good viewing points. The only downside to the place is that all the information about the animals is in German.... More

Take 3-5 hours to walk around in the zoo. Looks like most of the animals are being "free"- no big fences/ cages. We liked the monkeys in the monkey house- lot's of baby monkeys too. The young Ice Bear baby - Quintana was very shy. There were big and small animals and the Aquarium. Problem was probably the time of... More

We thoroughly enjoyed visiting this zoo. Was great to see the animals up and close. The bat cave, while a little scary perhaps, was simply amazing to have bats actually flying around you instead of behind glass. Cafe wasn't badly priced at all - we had a snack and a coffee - perfectly reasonable. Toilets - fine as well we... More
