This is a grand arch originally built in the 1800's but destroyed and rebuilt after the war. It was originally built to crown the achievements of the Bavarian army. It is the start of many impressive buildings going down Leopoldstrasse

Siegestor was almost demolished after the second world war. Luckily it was saved and rebuilt. It was once to celebrate the glory of the Bavarian army. Today it is a symbol for piece. Worth visiting.
