A very beautiful church on the outside and also on the inside. On the way to English Gardens, enter for a few minutes to enjoy the archit3cture and the quite.

A beautifully set church in between buildings close to the Goethe Platz station and just minutes away from Marienplatz! It has a unique outer fassade colour and distinctive from a distance.
This church again contains such beauty inside. It is situated in an historic square and when the sun shines due to the colour of the building its seems to glow,
Just behind the Residenzmusem, the Theatinerkirche was just coming out of a restoration when I visited, and looking very good for it. Externally there are 2 large yellow towers with a cupola in the centre. Internally, it's all calm, very light and white. Impressive.
This big Roman Catholic Church has a bright yellow Baroque facade! Good for picture-taking:) Actually, we were just gallivanting and saw it there.

I believe this is an amazing church, big, with white walls, and amazing sculptures and art, I prefere it to the other churches in Munich. I think it is totally worth it, especially if you leave the Resedenz to have a nice quite spiritual break.
Munich has quite a number of impressive churches. Theatinerkirche is worth a visit, but the atmosphere here is posh - as if God only cares for rich people and kings.
