I remember reading about Albrecht Durer in high school art or history class, longer ago than I'll admit. Then my wife and I stumbled onto his home in Nurbemberg, and it started to come back to me. This house is filled with fascinating information about...More

for only 5 euro, this little museum is a bargain. (and if I remember correctly, the audio guide came at no extra charge!) This was my second visit and I was happy to return.

The home of artist Albrecht Durer. Many art pieces. Great exhibits, displays and demonstrations. Very interesting and educational. Open until 8 pm on Thursday.

A very historical place in Nuernberg and should not be missed by any tourist. Walking through this historic house is great. It can be very crowded during tourist season like 'The Weihnachtsmarkt'.

Original house where Albrecht Dürer lived the last years of his life, you can visit the house, the furniture is not original but from later times.

Albrecht Durer House is located in a quite elevated section of Nuremberg. One of many alike tudor style buildings in the area, nearby the northern Walls

Those who want to understand a little more of mediaeval Europe in general, Germany in particular, and Durer even more particular need look no further. A brilliantly assembled and preserved memorial to one of the great geniuses.
