The castle has a wonderful view of the city. From the tower one can see the entire city. There is a fee for entrance that allow you to visit the tower, the exhibition about the castle and a guided visit. I think that if you...More

Was an incredible place to visit. Did a walking tour of the city which helped explain and bring it all together which was great. The fortress gives a great view over the city.

The castle was severely damaged during WWII, but it has been meticulously reconstructed and restored. The combination ticket is a good price for everything that you get to see, and includes an audio tour in the palace and museum. You also get to climb to...More

Nice castle on the top of the hill. Much of it can be seen free of charge and is very good. It has been restored after war damage but most castles have had their scrapes at some point in time.

I would definitely recommend going up Nuremberg Castle during your stay in Nuremberg. The views are really good especially on a clear day you can see well into the distance. You can make out the rough outline of the old city walls, really impressive architecture...More

It comes down to have you been to another Germany old town? If not, then it is a yes. If you have and enjoyed the other one, then I would go. If you do like seeing old buildings/walls or moats, then do not go. I like old... More

Two key areas to visit: old Town and the Holy Roman Emperors Castle (walking tour); and the former Nazi Party grounds and HQ(museum now).
What are the open hours for the Nuremberg Castle during the week (M-F)? Thank you.
