Do yourself a favor and go there! Beautiful castle, beautiful city view, awesome history, inspiring! We took the shortest tour (#3: 3,50 per person), and it was already very good. As we took our daughter together (she is 20 months old), we preferred to not walk so much and went only to the Sinwell Turm and the well. It was... More

The castle has great views, you can walk around the courtyard for free, it is very nice. I went to the exhibition which was not great, but it wasnt expensive and is worth visiting if you have time.

The walk up to the castle from the Hautplatz is a pleasant experience in itself, and since there were not many tourists around, it made picture taking that little bit easier. The entrance to the grounds is free. There is a great view of the city from the castle walls. Make sure to look out for the pair of horse... More

One of the largest and best rebuilt German castle, this compound presides over Nuremberg. Climbing up is therefore a bit challenging. You should book one of the official guided tours, where everything is explained in good English. Afterwards you can enjoy the view and decend to the old town.

Nice view of the city of Nuremberg. Colder than the city itself. I didn't visit the exhibition, it didn't seem interesting. Nice for couples and for taking photos or drinking beer :))

It was beautiful to see. It is worth trying to go on a festival day. There will be crowds but it is fun to see the local culture.

I would recommend hiring a tour guide for this stop as there is almost too much to take in. It is definitely a must see stop. It served as a fortress that protected the city for hundreds of years and was uniquely built with zig-zag wall to make it easier to defend. There is also an interesting story of how... More

The castle was quite interesting but we were disappointed because they do not offer English speaking tourist guides.
