The Fleischbrücke is one of the best bridges of Nuremberg, linking St. Sebald to St. Lorenz over the river Pegnitz. During the Christmas period it has a privileged view on the surroundings

Wonderful photo opportunity, an easy walk, about one block from the Christmas Market. Lots of year round shops located in the area. Nice view of the the river. Very quaint and lovely.

Fleisch Bridge is one of many crossings, but it's easy to take these for granted. Built around 1598, it provides some picturesque views

This bridge has been so important to Nuremberg for over 500 years. It is often overlooked as it is just a crossing point between St. Sebald and St. Lorenz. It was a technologically advanced bridge when it was built in the late 16th Century and...More

A bridge which is no big deal in itself, but which links the two parts of the stunning medieval Old Town.

The Fleischbrucke (Bridge of Meat) connects the river bank of the Pregnitz with a little island within it. It is actually a very old bridge, first built of timber, and after it burned down, it was reconstructed in the most solid manor, in imitation of...More

Perhaps I have become jaded to this site. After 25 years of visiting Nurnberg's Altstadt and crossing this bridge so many times, I don't really see it anymore. Only one block away you can stand on a different bridge and view the beautiful and historic...More
