A large imposing public building. Because of the location, you can't gain a viewing angle to take it all in. It is much too large for the site. But taken in small pieces (i.e. Doors, art work, etc) it is attractive in its own way.

A Rathaus that is located in the heart of the city. A good example of Nuremberg architectural style and can be easily incorporated into a stroll along the cities old town center.

So few people are aware of the significance of the statuary above the doors of the Nurnburger Rathaus. These represent the 4 eras told about in the book of Daniel which accurately tell of the future of the Babylonians, the Persians and Medes, Alexander and...More

The Town Hall - yet another reconstructed building after the extensive damages of WW2 bombing. Good job though. Can’t miss the place if you are in the Altstadt

Seeing the Town Hall is certainly interesting and very worthwhile. I think you should certainly make time to see it.

Close to the St. Sebaldus and the Hauptmarket is the Nuremberg Rathaus: the hause of the municipality. It's a huge building with a beautiful facade.

This building is situated nearby the market square, close by The Beautiful Fountain and opposite St Sebaldus church. It is a large unassuming building which can easily be missed but has very ornate stone carvings over the main entrance doors. Well worth viewing.

It’s an imposing building standing as a good example of renaissance architecture, as it’s evident from its façade. The most outstanding part thereof is however in gothic style. That part is the hall of the building which is really impressive owing particularly to the beauty...More

Remarkable architecture, and surprisingly easy to overlook. It is located between town square and castle, so easy to walk by and just note that it is a large building. Look up, it's beautiful.

You will find the building opposite the old sausage house and St. Sebald's Lutheran church just off the market square. The massiveness of the building is striking although it is not particularly beautiful. Walking inside just off the street you really feel it's age.
