Free entrance to Dom. Walk slowly around inside and study windows and decorations. Go down to the ”crypt”. Outside is an excavation, read the explanatory signs. Do not compare this Dom with others, more well known. It has its beauty of its own.

Augsburg is a beautiful place which still embodies the life and architecture of the middle-ages when it was one of the most powerful kingdoms in Germany. This Cathedral is worth the visit since it is peaceful and not crowded and the architecture is exquisite.

Nothing special compare to Ulm cathedral, but worth to visit. Gothic style, started to build at XIV century.

It's a lovely old cathedral in the old part of town. Entrance is free & there is plenty to see in & around the building.
