While the Japanese Garden is said to be the top attraction, I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive gardens and other water displays even in mid-September. This is well worth a visit whether by car or by bus. It is close to the Zoo and...More

Great garden, so many plants to see. Best is to go when the weather is not too good, otherwhise it might be too crowded. There is a beer garden inside, you can get bavarian mass beer and just near it a big play ground.

Easily half a day for a plant lover, much larger than it first appears. Well laid out and maintained. Zoo is adjacent if you want to make a day of it.

It was a 2 mile walk from my hotel, but absolutely worth every step. It's much larger than I expected and has a variety of different gardens to enjoy. A park for kids to romp in. Pretty nice place to visit.
