We were looking for somewhere nice to stay in Germany on a return car journey and I had heard for years my neighbours praise Dinkelsbuhl so booked in for four nights. It is a totally amazing town, I did not think that anything like this...More

This town is just as beautiful as its famous neighbor Rothenburg. In this town people actually still live, it has not been taken over by souvenir shops and groups of tourists. Very charming!

My wife and I went during the Kinderzeche festival, and it was the highlight of a 2-week trip to Germany and France. Forget the Oktoberfest in the rest of Germany, especially in Munich: go to the Kinderzeche festival in July here instead, especially the first...More

This is a cute little town with a lot of old houses. There are some really nice shops, but not a must-see. If you drive by and need a rest or some food, this is a good place.

We spent hours walking the town. It rained on us a few times but that just adds to the adventure. Don't be rushed and soak up the ambiance.
