A nice small platz with the town hall. On the hour the bells ring and windows open up to see figures inside. Nice to see.

The Rothenburg Christmas Market is centered in front of this building. It's a neat, medieval setting for sure.

You will definitely walk past this large, ornate building. Stop and admire its beauty and enjoy the scenic square it is situated on. There many shops and cafes here for you to enjoy.

Love the buildings. I would suggest the night watchman guided tour, really gives you an idea what life was like in this town. If you are there at the right time you can see the people in the clock tower.

Town hall is cool but look out tower is closed. We still walked to the top. Look across to the clock and on the hour you will see figures in the window.

Visited the area during one of our Viking Cruise Tour days. A delightful place to site see with many photo opts. The shops were interesting from both a site seeing an/or shopping prospective. I certainly wish we had more time.

The area is filled with splendor and tourists but it is absolutely a must see. From the small bakeries to traditional eateries this area is fantastic. We simply walked inside the walled city and enjoyed! I would hope that you would as well.

After having a look at the town, you might stop here to have a cup of coffee and enjoy your "snowball" cookie. Käthe Wohlfahrt is also nearby
