Many handcrafted items available in this beautifully decorated store. The prices are reasonable for hand painted and crafted items. They do offer shipping services, especially needed for the glass ornaments.

i can guarantee most of the items are not made in Germany. i bet they pay extra to not have China or other countries stickers put on the items where/when made. I've seen similar items in many usa stores and you can tell the expression painted on wooden figures all look the same when made in Asian countries.

Beautiful museum and shop. The ticket for the museum is 4 euros and can be bought there. In the shop things are mostly expensive and even though one wants to do some x mas shopping it s really hard as things are really pricy. Still some things can be bought and just the shop itself it s a wonderland.

They have so many toys, Christmas ornaments, Christmas trees in the shop you dont know where to start. Everything is beautifully done up, kids and adults are equally entranced by the displays. Even if you dont buy anything, you will have a fun time just browsing.

We visited here in March so outside the Christmas Market time of year, so it was lovely to get a taste of that magical time of year! The displays in the store were fabulous, the giant Christmas tree captivated our daughter and there were so many decorations to choose from for purchase.

I purchased an item from the Berlin store and had it shipped by the shop. Showed up broken. Returned it, had them send a new one - also token. Then was told 'it's a bad model.' Ok, no problem, I say to myself "I'll be in Rothenburg soon , I'll pick something out from the flagship store." Not so. The... More

Great store! Even if you don't purchase anything, it is worth a look inside. It was fun to just browse and see what Christmas might be like in Germany. It makes me want to head back in December!

What an amazing shop. I don't really like Christmas shops out of season but this is an experience that makes you forget what time of year it is. The items are not cheap but they all look hand made and of good quality. Certainly look in and get ideas for next December. The Cuckoo Clock part of the shop displays... More

The shop is marvelous; but soooo incredibly popular, it's a squeeze to get around, and only as enjoyable as the courtesy of the other customers, which can be a challenge at Xmas time. This is a must-see if you are visiting Rothenburg

Perfect for an all year Christmas experience. The shop of 3 levels and the decorations are that wonderful that we enjoy both winter and summer stopover in this must visit for 1 hour. Note shop is free of charge (no photo's allowed) whilst for museum needs cover charge.
