Easily the most vibrant part of the city. Incredible place to just stop down and watch all the bikers, residents and passer-bys. This is everything I wanted Prague's Charles Bridge to be... just the right amount of crowd and still carries its old-school charm.

We are told this is the oldest bridge in Germany. Regardless if it is or not it's still a wonderful historic spot great for having a glass of wine and people watching over the lovely Main River

Once upon a time I stayed in Würzburg for a while. One of the things I hadn't known was that this was a Celtic area so there was a cultural connection with the 11 monks who came from Ireland in 686 A.D. including Kilian. After converting the local pagan Duke and many subjects Kilian told him that he'd erred by... More

Have a glass of white wine with friends and enjoy a sunny afternoon or evening. If you are lucky, there is even a musician or band contributing to the atmosphere.

After seing many beautiful bridges in Prag, Paris and Budapest, this one is an average one compared to them. Open only for pedesterian traffic.

This is a very nice pedestrian bridge across the River Main. There are some interesting statues on both sides of the bridge. When you are on the bridge, the surrounding view is very scenic and it is a great place to take pictures.

The location is fabulous, however the surrounding area is extremely populated, busy and loud. It is VERY central to everything in the main Wurzburg town.

The bridge is closed to traffic which makes it a fantastic walking area. From the bridge itself you have a great view of the fortress.

We walked across the bridge almost daily to get to the market. This bridge is old and among the best to see in Europe. There is always lots of people hanging out on the bridge. Great place to people watch. You see people having a picnic to enjoying a glass of wine with friends to people pass by.
