Straight after the Marathon this "beach bar" on the edge of the river was a very welcome and popular spot.
Great beer, great foo, great music and super comfortable deck chairs. Happy staff and lots and lots of seating made it the perfect stop

Located partially between DB station and the Reichstag. The modernistic look represents a mix of history and the future of urban planning according to the Swiss company, which won the design competition.

Mostly used as a route between the DB station and the Reichstag except for sunbathers and beer drinkers on the north facing south bank of the curve opposite the entrance to the Spree Canal.

The nicest surprise in the park lies at the southern end of Möltkebrücke with the appearance of a sunken garden, the floor of which slopes gently upwards over a distance of about 100 metres.
Over the garden, three footbridges enable pedestrians to criss-cross the floral space.
This the park’s Perennial Garden.
The garden's perennials apparently symbolize the time of the Berlin Wall, when wild shrubs grew freely here.
