I’m just rating the restaurant part. I did not visit the museum. For my first currywurst ever, I figured going to the place where they have a museum for it would be a good idea. They have a very small seating area outside the museum...More

Currywurst is Berlin's beloved street food specialty, thus it is only appropriate that this savoury dish had its own museum in the very city where it was invented. Entry price is 11€, which is a lot if you consider that the museum is small, but...More

Not really worth the money but it was something different to do on a rainy day. Worth it just to get a picture in the currywurst vending van and of course the sample taster at the end

I guess this would not be as funny if currywurst was something you loved, but as an outsider it was the funnyist thing we did on our trip to Berlin. Giant plastic chips, buttons to press with the sound of chips frying and coffee percolating,...More

Very close to Check Point Charlie, certainly worth a visit, once you're in the area. The entrance ticket price includes the sausage samples (do not expect a full meal), interesting and fun facts, including a vegetarian choice. Very friendly staff. Check the schedule on bank...More

i love meat, and enjoy a good currywurst, but i thought the museum will be more.. Mature. a - there weren't enough actual meat b. the installments were a bit childish, and less suitable to mature travelers c.i finished it in 30mins. It's interesting, but...More

This place is tiny, but offbeat enough we loved it! The staff was so friendly, finding us the best ticket price and helping us call a taxi when we were done. Each ticket comes with a sample of currywurst, and even vegetarian was available.

This is a totally different Museum, a museum dedicated to the currywurst. I hadn't pre-book and sort of " tumbled" on it returning from Checkpoint Charlie. We (hubby and I) really enjoyed the experience and the samples of currywurst at the end. Totally recommend!

We had been planning on trying currywurst reasonably soon after arriving in Berlin on a visit from the UK. We came across this museum really close to Checkpoint Charlie and the curiosity to go in got the better of us. Now let's be honest it's...More

The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights
like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum
Island. The central location makes this one of the
city's most expensive places to live. It is here the
oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence
of some significant transformations, as well. The
gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets
between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given

You just turn up, you don't need to book. The food is a taster, you get about 3 inches of sausage, with a BBQ sauce in a cup. Lisa x
