I went to several museums on Museum Island and this one was by far my favorite. They have an incredible collection of Egyptian Artifacts including Nefertiti's Bust. I actually enjoyed this collection a lot more than the Egyptian collection at the British Museum, even though...More

This has to be one of the best museums in the World for its classic collection. Some of the Roman and Eqyptian items were the best I have ever seen, and I say that having visited the Museums of Rome, Cairo, Paris, London and New...More

Although there are some copies of artifacts, some are quite real. The sculpture above is very worth visiting.

A museum that covers history from way back then, 45000 years to present. Nefretite was there but a lot of other interesting things too. A lot of construction work being done at the Museum Island so you by tickets away from museum.

Any museum that houses Nefertiti as well as the Xanten boy is worth a visit. But there is much else to see, including a fascinating special exhibition comparing the early development of China with that of Egypt. There are some remarkable similarities. The exhibition borrows...More

Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights
like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum
Island. The central location makes this one of the
city's most expensive places to live. It is here the
oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence
of some significant transformations, as well. The
gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets
between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given
