The botanical garden is nice place. it has many varieties of plants, cactus, trees, grass. This should be visited in spring time when most plants will have flours

A little bit outside the city but so worth the effort (which was actually an easy 20 minute journey on the S1 line). Beautiful gardens but the highlight was the amazing greenhouses. Each of the 15 greenhouses are interconnected, with each displaying different forms of plants in varying climates. The cactus display was superb! Nice outdoor cafe overlooking the gardens.... More

On my second trip to Berlin, I visited this place without expecting much, and I am now sorry I didn't visit it the last time I was in Berlin, too. It's definitely one of the 3 best attractions of the city, in my opinion, after the Reichstag building and Brandenburg Gate. Wonderful greenhouses, well-kept gardens, and absolutely lovely place in... More

Lovely breather from a busy city, good fun to walk around and always something happening. Nice places to relax and take time out.

Have you wanted to see blossoming gardens and tropical forest in one day? If yes, you should definitely come here - you'll have blooming rhododendrons, blindingly green palms and ferns and even small birds in the room of coffee) It's like a trip around the world forests taken in some hours. And also it's a very good way to renew... More

The garden is nice and quite big. The best part of the greenhouses were the cactuses. Lots of species and some were huge. The natural history museum is quite small and while it has a few interesting parts, it was not what I had expected of a place in Berlin.

This botanical garden is to my opinion big compared to other ones I have visited. If you get the chance to come while an event is taking place, do so, then you'll get something extra to glimpse at.

We were there in the evening when the Christmas garden was in place. A wonderful stroll around the park with different light settings on the trees and bushes. A must if you are in Berlin around Christmas time.
