We were told that Mauerpark is one of the most happening places in Berlin and hence we ended up going there. The park however on weekdays evening is quite empty, with nothing much happening. We wandered around the park for some time watching some locals...More

I seriously LOVE this place. It was like watching the city of Berlin wake up for the summer, it was AMAZING. It looks like a place where you should buy tickets to, but it's just a relaxing Sunday chill. First we walked to the back...More

At the beginning the flea market can be nice: it is really flea-ous: smelly, dirty, chaotic, made only for 'alternative' tourists. But just a few meters away, under the ruins of the Mauer, there is the arena where the company of Joe's international karaoke lovers...More

Mauerpark is best enjoyed on a Sunday, where the open karaoke is in full swing in the make shift open air auditorium. The flea market also offers an amazing vibe, along with street performers, the park exemplifies the open nature of Berlin. This is a...More

Loved the flea market with cool vintage fashion and food, and the music/Karaoke awesomeness in the open green space next to the market! A must do while in Berlin!

A large, open air green field in a lively neighborhood. Unmissable on Sundays when it houses a comprehensive flea market, ideal for tourists and locals alike, filled with trinkets, books, albums, original souvenirs and street food stalls -- all the while surrounded by the every...More

No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change
than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists
that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in
the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip
crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were
once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall,
there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have
been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays,

At aroubd 5pm, there won't be many boothes till opened from the flee market. The karaoke might start around that time, or even around 4pm. 7pm is definitively late, but there is still often party going on till night.
