Our five year old son spent hours here and had to be dragged away. It isn't that big and it's a bit expensive and other reviews had said it gets busy - but if you go first thing in the morning and don't expect too much from it, it's a good place to play and explore. We might not have... More

Lots of attractions and activities. Our daughter loved the Ninjago lasers the best. Make sure you align your visit to the movie schedule, otherwise missing a lot. The workshop is fantastic, as it teaches planning to the kids.

We have celebrated the Birthday of our Son in Discovery center in Berlin. The impression was pretty dreadful. The food was so bad, that majority of children didn't even want to try their Pizza. Events were poorly organized (Workshop, Birthday cake and etc.) It was obvious that the motivation of the Personal from LEGO Center was very low (the phrase... More

Dear Marina, I am very sorry to hear about your experience that day. This is definitely not the spirit of our team and not the service we are delivering our guests. Also not the experience we received so far as common feedback. I will have a close look into your day of visit to check for improvement or circumstances which... More

Legoland DC was smaller then expected . It is easily reachable . They had different lego stations like space mission & duplo for the kids to build lego. Lego dicovery center had miniland where they have built the most important buildings of berlin using lego bricks and the best part was the lego factory tour where they show how raw... More

In principle it is not first time in Lego Discovery center, we have already been in Lego Discovery center in Oberhausen where our kids really enjoyed its time. However here in Berlin it was opposite. The place was totally crowded. There was in principle too many people in small place. There was a bunch of bigger kids who without supervision... More

On the positive side the centre is well located, however the activities on offer are very limited and are aimed at children of a young age (Max 7 years). The restaurant could not cope with the lunchtime crush and the queue was not acceptable. Regardless of which ticket offer you choose the prices are over the top. In all it... More

we visited LEGOLAND Discovery, located in an unattractive basement, and were outside within 15 minutes. not worth 70€ for the family. half the exhibition was closed, the "play area" was packed, and there was the obligatory queue via the shop to exit. I cannot imagine Lego lends it name and reputation to this "attraction". the maquette of Berlin was the... More

This was a lot of fun for our kids who love legos! But the over packed the place, so it was difficult moving around and was very hot. We will be back, but probably not on rainy weekends when everyone will be looking for inside entertainment.

I tried to imagine what this Center must be like for people who don't have much with Lego. Still I can only say: visit this if you have young children (-10 always a winner). Not so interesting for adults only as most part contains of activities / rides / playgrounds focused on the, I would say, 4-12 year olds. We... More

The exhibition at the entrance is beautiful. The train ride is ok, the playroom was so crowded and so loud, that we couldn't stay there for more than a couple of mins. It's more like a playground for kids from age of 4 up.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
