I remain torn about this place a week after visiting. If I was rating the place as my 3 year old it would be an easy 5 / 5. However, as an adult its a generous 3 / 5. As an avid Lego fan I had big expectations for this place particularly after paying the €18.50 admission fee (times two... More

Visited with my 7 years old daughter. SHe is too old for this place, although advertised that it is even even for children at the age of 10. Younger children will enjoy, but parents need a lot of patience.

Thank you so much for your feedback. Having so many kids up to age of 10 having fun and enjoying I am sorry that your daughters expectations has not been met by us. My kids really enjoyed Legoland. The staff were very friendly and one even went on a ride to help my daughter. The activities are interesting albeit unspectacular. The location is very central with great transport links. I would definitely recommend a visit for kids from ages 2-6 but only if to put are already in Berlin. Not worth travelling to... More

I have a huge LEGO fan, but this place was too packed to enjoy. Granted - we did go during the week after Christmas and kids were out of school. However, we purchased our tickets on-line in advance and still stood for over 30 minutes in line, outside, in the rain to get in during our timed entrance. In addition,... More

Dear family Gtravelgirl, I am not pleased to hear that and I am sorry you experienced your stay at our attraction as you describe. We do have one of the best price offers online which you cannot purchase directly at entrance till - so you should have saved money being it in advance. And yes your are right - we... More

We visited mid week on a cold December morning. It wasn't mobbed - as you'd expect it to be at the likes of a weekend, or peak season. This meant we had ample space and time to get round everything. Its a great place to give the kids a break from trudging round the sights of Berlin. Overall mum and... More

We brought our two boys (8 & 6) here and really enjoyed it. Book ahead online and you can choose a time slot to suit and save money versus the walk-up price. It's all indoors too which was useful as it was raining on the afternoon that we visited.

It was the 2nd time we visited Legoland in Berlin. The 1st time we have spend a lot of money as we got tickets directly there, without discounts. In this way it is not the money wortht, it is very expensive, without any drink included. When booking through the internet you'll have the opportunity to find "normal prices" by either... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
