Frierichstraße is a very famous street and area in Berlin. Although it's lined with all manner of shopping outlets in and around the street and the immediate area there are some fantastic cafe's and bars here and some interesting tourist attractions such as Checkpoint Charlie...More

The street is almost in the historic center of Berlin, the placement of the hotel on this street creates good preconditions for traveling around the city. Get a convenient train station. There are plenty of restaurants on the street - we especially liked Seaside.

Shops, restaurants, checkpoint Charlie museum and old buildings mixed with new. From upscale to tourist shops, from full service to take away, plenty to see and do here.

This avenue is where the east-west passage known as Checkpoint Charlie stood. The original place has no real interesting remains but posters had been set to recount the history of the wall inside the cold war and are very interesting (stunning photos)

Restaurants and stores....things to get you busy in the middle of it all. If you prefer "quiet" you'd best go to Tiergarten

Very nice street with lots of interesting sights, from historical sights like checkpoint Charlie, or the views towards Brandenburg gate or TV tower, to restaurants, shopping stores, big department stores, you get to see everything here.

We really liked that this street is full of shops and you can even find luxury stores in the Lafayette Galleries which are located right next to the Friedrichstrasse underground station.

Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can
both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central
neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the

Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s,
rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a
carefree life here. An old hospital even became a
hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today
