If you love great architecture like me you will appreciate this building. Most of the information is in German. You don't get to see a lot of the inside.

Took a nice picture of it from the Oranienburg strasse. Also nice to take a picture of the whole street at sunset. Near the centre.

The building looks astonishing at the outside! yet the inside is really disappointing; you have to pay to visit an "exhibition", but that's really small. A lot of the building has been destroyed.

The best part of this visit is the view from the outside - other than that do not bother. You pay 6 euros to see two rooms with a little boring information mostly in German. Another 3 euros allows you to walk up 40 (very...More

I found my visit interesting, from the point of view that the place was historic, and the fact that it had come under attack during the Nazi years, however, having said that, there was not a great deal to see on the inside, given that...More

We visited the centrum judaicum with a group consisting of many elderly people and a handful of children. There had been a scheduling mix-up and we had to wait nearly an hour for our tour so some of us were flagging by the time the...More

Impolite people, pricing strategy unclear, plus there is absolutely NOTHING to see on the inside, except if you have, by a strange coincidence of destiny, interest in a specific exhibition. Highly recommended to avoid this one (except for a photo from the outside, which is...More

Nice to look at when you pass by, and offers a hint of the social status of the Jewish community pre-1933.

The story of this synagogue is so sad - lovingly built in the early 20thC, just surviving kristellnacht only to be completely destroyed in the war. Parts of it have now been refurbished in order to tell the story of a lost community and heritage...More

The building is impressive from the outside. The exhibition was good and sad to see the prayer hall was destroyed but very moving

Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights
like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum
Island. The central location makes this one of the
city's most expensive places to live. It is here the
oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence
of some significant transformations, as well. The
gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets
between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given
