If you have time and are willing to pay for a good show, I would definitely recommend visiting the Philharmonic. The hall has amazing acoustics and is host to some of the world's best and most renowned composers. There is also a grand reception area...More

Although the exterior of the building is quite dated (in my opinion anyway), the interior and the legacy that this venue carries with it, made it one of the highlights of my trip.

I`d always wanted to hear the musicians of Berlin Philharmonic play. Now I know why. It was perfection!!! I`m not an expert. I`m just an average listener of classical music. Even if you are one of those, do not hesitate and get yourself a ticket.

Superlative in all respects. Music, orchestra, conductor, acoustics, ambience, location. World class and well worth a visit.

Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through
the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which
lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood.
Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city:
upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades
and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone
streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through
little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop
