I went to the concert by the Philharmonia of Berlin, I was impressed by the concert hall, good sound, and outstanding performance. I want to go back!

Had a memorable concert at this architecturally stunning building. Mesmerized by the young and very gifted Russian pianist, who came back on for 4 encores. Fantastic acoustics. When in Berlin, this is an essential thing to do, unless you dislike classical music.

What a great hour - listening to the best of the best. Seating for elderly/infirm otherwise the rest of us (hundreds) sat on stairs or overlooked the concert from the balcony area (get there early to get a good position). Lunch and drinks available for...More

There is seating on all sides of the orchestra but they all looked like great seats to see and hear the music.

A visit to a performance of the Berlin Philharmonic in Berlin had long been on our bucket list and it didn't disappoint. The performance was superb, the atmosphere amazing and the acoustics second to none. Just fantastic.

We had a great time listening Baroque music in the Chamber auditorium. The sound was all around us. An evening to remember.

I went for the lunchtime concert on a Tuesday, which is free. I had no queue to get in (around 12.30; it starts at 1). The building, the staff and of course the music, was all great. They do food there when the lunchtime concerts...More

We were privileged to hear Blomstedt and Berlin Phil (Bruckner 3 and Mozart K448) then Simon Rattle (piano!) and violin, clarinet cello ensemble late night. Last minute tickets at the booking office (open from 5:30pm). Generally best to book beforehand by internet.

Acoustics are amazing; the orchestra is world famous, so one would expect a great concert; however the way the Hall is constructed makes it so much more special. It felt like in some "Shaman circle" :), with energy going through the roof. I was in...More

Acoustics here is perfect. And the design of the place is so interesting and also practical, allowing large groups to move about with ease. It is an impressive building, as you'd expect in this city where music is so important.

Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through
the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which
lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood.
Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city:
upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades
and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone
streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through
little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop

You can find the answer to this question by looking on the calendar of the Berlin Philharmonic. It is difficult to get tickets to hear Simon Rattle. We saw the Berlin Symphony instead. Wonderful! It tells you how to contact... More
