We really enjoyed our night with Swedish Young talents during Young Euro Week. The only Pity was there was long queue at the bar during the break, even there were 2 halls Which served the drinks. They need to add more Human ressources to serve the drink or food to the guests, so we will not only have 5-10min left to drink all the wine and water. Danke

This is a gorgeous building in Gendarmenmarkt, that was, unfortunately, closed for visits when we were there.
Still, we could appreciate the building's architecture and photo-op value.

A stunning music venue, unfortunately it was closed but the architecture is quite beautiful. Flanked by two churches.

I was here over the Christmas season and between all the Christmas markets and all the classical music in concert houses and churches, there can be no better place. The Konzerthaus itself is a stunning building. From the vaulted ceilings to the staircases and quality of music and acoustics-all top notch and worth the price. I will make it a goal to return someday-God-willing.

three wonderful buildings all tied together here. The two churches flank what has become the concert hall (after renovations and reopened in the 1980's ). The big open space is use for outdoor concerts (we just missed one)

The Konzerthaus stands in the middle of Gendarmenmarkt - the capital's most beautiful sq. It stands between two almost identical protestant Churches - the French Dom on the north and German Dom on it's south.
The concert hall is a massive classic style bldg with six Ionic columns atop the grand stairway. It was built at the beginning of 19 c and primary served as a theater. During the WWII it was severly damaged, and only after the 70's renovating it became a concert hall.

Do yourself a favour and see a concert here.

The Great Hall is achingly beautiful and acts as a portal to another space and time.

Though the musicians were unfortunately amplified the evening we went, the acoustics were still fantastic and the experience was simply vibrant.

If you're having a dreary day, this is an instant remedy. Prices vary and we'd recommend the stalls (mezzanine.) From there you get terrific views of the stage, the building and the audience.

The Konzerthaus is wunderfully resotred; the big hall, the kammermusiksaal have a baroque feeling; the whole building adds to the atmposphere. reserve well ahead your tickets.

We had a fabulous experience at a Bruckner concert in the Grosser Saal, and the Konzerthaus Orchestra was wonderful! The acoustics in this room are amazing, the design is elegant and luxurious looking, and the experience is well worth the price of the tickets. We sat in Rang 1, seats 9 and 10, and these were great seats overlooking the orchestra with a clear view facing the conductor which was very interesting. The audience was very appreciative and educated in classical music concerts which only added to a very enjoyable evening.

there is a lot of historical significance seeing and hearing a classical concert at Konzerthaus. our seats were relatively inexpensive. it is gorgeous from the outside and unbelievable inside. our concert was very good even for a casual fan. they definitely know how to end a show!
