It's great that they opened the doors to the auditorium so that the public could view it for free. Would be even better to watch a concert here too.

The interior hall is not as big as you might expect from the outside, but the acoustics are amazing!

In contrast to the modern Berliner Philharmonie, this is its older and clumsier cousin. The concert house is a magnificent architecture from the outside, but the inside is less so. The grand hall is better decorated than the entrance hall, with chandeliers and all. The...More

Go here on days when they have noonday concerts. Attended a wonderful concert by a mezzo suprano... and enjoyed a cup of expresso afterwards. I believe they are called Expresso Konzert. Worth it!

Just seeing this outside by really impressed by the great architecture and all statues. It is really hard to keep all the architectures which still bring the old time styles. Really love it,

The Konzerthaus offers a changing program in several different venues within the house, from a more relaxed or experimental room on the top to a small and large hall. Acoustics are fabulous. Decor takes a little getting used to: baroque Berlin filtered through the GDR...More

I was unable to go inside because it was closed and under construction but the architecture is magnificent! Can't wait to come back and see the inside and a concert.

Went to watch an English choir on December 21, it was quite engaging. If you are bored of the opera, you can at least expect to be enthralled by the beautiful interiors and architecture. The best thing is that there is no dress code, but...More

The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights
like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum

oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence
of some significant transformations, as well. The
gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets
between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given

It depends on personal preference. I prefer to be in the stalls and in a centre aisle seat for easy access. I think, however, that it is such a good venue that most seats will be good. Ask the booking agent and/or look at... More

We showed up literally 5 mins before our performance and walked straight up to our seats. Photos and videos were ok, as long as no flash.

In my opinion it depends on the type of the event or concert. Generally the audience is actually quite casually dressed.
