Myself and 2 others booked a 60 min Wednesday twilight running tour to get a feel for Berlin. Despite the wide range of running ability between the 3 of us (one elite and 2 plodders), Mike was able to keep it interesting and fun for all of us. Mike was very knowledgable and approachable. He showed us areas that we... More

Mike is an excellent guide with a wealth of information. I had a personal tour and he tailored it to my interests and time availability. He constantly was pointing out interesting sights as we went and kept a comfortable pace throughout. If you're looking to see Berlin while exercising this is a great way to do it.

Mike's an exceptional guide. He keeps in mind what you like (in our case history, running, food,..) and aligns his tour and explanations accordingly. He loves talking about the city he loves and he sure knows a lot about it. He's been running marathons all over the world and has now dedicated his time in guiding people throughout his city.... Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
