Visited this working museum recently and spent an enjoyable few hours roaming around this old giant tram depot. Entry is free. It has been skilfully converted to house vintage, rare and beautiful cars. There are specialist workshops repairing different models of cars. There are vintage cars for sale (for people who have won the lottery!!). All cars are there to... More

I really like Classic Remise. They display a lot of cars, some behind a glass. However, many cars are displayed without any obstructions, so you can have a detailed look. The entry is for free and I would say you can spend 1-2 hours here.

A chance find on google, we ventured out there as my sons insisted on seeing something called 'La Ferrari', apparently a very rare car. Well, they had two of these, plus models from the yesteryears mixed with new models such as a Bugatti. For car enthusiasts, it's a must!!

Would highly recommend a walk around this classic car showroom if you have some time to spare. A bit of a trek to get there & nothing else in the area to see. No charges at all........

Do not miss this gem in Berlin! We went there for lunch, but the bratwurst was more ordinary than delicious. But the cars! They were not ordinary!

I visited this place whilst on a trip to Berlin with my wife. It was packed with classic cars that were stored or repaired there, companies selling classic cars or motor memorabilia. It was well laid out and better than most museums I have visited. Easily accessible from any part of Berlin by public transport & not difficult to find,... More

Fantastic place for any car lovers. We cycled here from the city centre on a relaxed ride through the Tiergarten and enjoyed a fantastic lunch at the on site restaurant which was incredible value for money. We spent a couple of hours here but could have stayed longer such is the size of the place.

Staying in Moabit

Neighbourhood Profile
You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighbourhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city centre are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighbourhood in the city.
