This museum is in an iconic building: where Germany surrendered for a second time to end WWII (the first surrender took place the day before in Reims, France). The museum is in eastern Berlin, so well away from most every other museum and attraction in...More

Downstairs is the historic room where Nazi Germany's final surrender was signed, as well as the office of the Soviet Commander Zhukov. Upstairs is a great exhibit about the Germans in Russia during the war, and then the Russians in Germany after the war. Lots...More

A little way out of the city so not hyped up but one of the best museums we've visited - it's gruelling in places but a good mix of media and a treasure trove of information.

Just aweinspiring to be at the location where WW2 peace was signed. Fantastic museum, albeit a bit "Russian". A must do!!! Good military vehicles, tank and artillary pieces (All Russian) outside. Rooms filled with artefcats and history. Well presented and documented.

This museum is quite far out of Berlin, but well with the visit as this is where the Unconditional Surrender that ended WWII was signed. It is also free. We fortunately had a car and it was easy to find.

This is right on the Eastern fringes of Berlin and tells the story of the German forces surrender to the Russian and Allied forces in May 1945, really interesting with lots of Russian hardware outside.

Hi. I downloaded the BVG app which is brilliant and bought the 3 day travel pass for trains and buses which is great value. I guess you could do Uber which works well in Berlin but will cost more than a 3 day pass. Hope... More
