Firstly, if you are driving, there is parking space to the front of the stadium. This is a step back in history to visit the site of the 1936 Olympics. Make sure you visit the sites around the stadium so you can see where the opening ceremony took place, the swimming and some other historical interest. It is a great... More

Historical memorandum of Hitler's nazi olympic games. Great, functional architecture, interesting history, functional transport and access by public transport. Less points in service and souvenier shops and entrance fee per value.

Iconic and impressive piece of architecture. Best known by famous 1936 Olympic games held during Nazi era. It has both football and historical significance. I am glad they decided to renovate the stadium and keep it in use. This stadium is a monument and therefore it represents much more than just a sports arena. For everyone who likes history and... We literally purchased a ticket and was given a map for the Olympic campus and sent on our way for a walk round. Probably the most impressive stadium I've been too apart from Old... More

Fantastic! A definite must see if in Berlin! Such history and present combined into one place. Being a Jewish American, it was an amazing feeling to be walking through an arena my people were not allowed once before. Very cool to see all the history!

The Fireworks Festival was the thing, from which our idea about trip to Berlin started. We also have a festival like this in Lithuania, but decided to check how it looks like in other country. The tickets were not available to print-at-home, but had to be delivered by a delivery service. And this cost a lot. I guess, it's a... More

Went on the English tour on New years Day and had a great couple of hours touring the stadium inside and out. Only 7 euros entry so terrific value, great tour guide discussed Hertha Berlin football club facilities and the full history of the stadium from being built to the present day. Easy to get to on the U Bahn... More
