Those who are interested on Art Deco, Modernism, and Functionalism should definitely visit this museum which houses an exquisite collection of artworks as well as everyday objects. It gives a very insightful impression of these streams of art and design as well as their implications.

We found the Brohan whilst travelling on the Hop-on-Hop-Off bus. We love Art Nouveau and for anyone who has a strong interest in Art Nouveau, Secessionist or Jungendstil I would recommend a visit. It's not a large place but exhibits include glass and furniture on...More

Great for a specialist interests in Art Nouveau and Deco. A long walk from nearest S ban station to Charlottenburg Palace across the street, in a nice 18th c building once used as a guard house. The 3-day museum pass makes it worthwhile, otherwise you...More

Art from the first half of 20th century is hard to find now in Berlin as the glass box of New National Gallery by Mies van der Rohe in Potsdamer Strasse is under renovation. Also at Bröhan Museum across the street from Charlottenburg castle the...More

Very small exhibit of some furniture pieces, virtually no descriptions in English, several pieces were missing but even where there were pieces, lots of space in between objects so generally few objects altogether. No context given or explanation of what you're seeing. For EUR8 (more...More

A beautiful museum that provides samples of Art Deco and Art Nouveau decorative arts. What a gem across the street from the Berggruen. An enthusiast of that time, I totally loved the experience.

Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through
the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which
lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood.
Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city:
upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades
and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone
streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through
little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop
