A beautiful museum that provides samples of Art Deco and Art Nouveau decorative arts. What a gem across the street from the Berggruen. An enthusiast of that time, I totally loved the experience.

We are real art deco fans, we have been restoring our home for the last 15 years and I am confident that I have more items in my small home than this museum. I know the items in it are in fantastic condition but there...More

This museum is the result of a collector Karl Brohan donating his collection of Art Deco and Art Nouveau to Berlin. It is a small museum, given the focus but contains a good deal of furniture, metalwork, and art works. In particular the glass works...More

Next door to the Museum Berggruen. See my scarf-Gerstenberg review for how to get there. About one half of the museum is closed in preparation for an exhibition opening June 15. Even so it's worth the $8 admission to see what is still on display...More

This is a lovely little art gallery near the Schloss at Charlottenburg. We were delighted by the Art Deco paintings, furniture and other artefacts on one floor. And the paintings of Jan Toorop which take up another complete floor are revealing and astonishing. I had...More

A lovely collection of work. Well worth a visit if you enjoy this particular style of art and design pieces, and especially if you are looking for something that is a little off the beaten track, not on the usual list of tourist attractions. Unfortunately...More

I had a museumpass so went there to see as it is on museumpass list. However, I was only permitted to visit the ground floor where there are not many things to see. Maybe the rest is better. Why not visit it if you have...More

Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through
the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which
lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood.
Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city:
upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades
and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone
streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through
little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop
