A chance to experience what it would have been like in a Berlin air raid shelter. Good detail and artefacts on the tour and we had a great guide, Yvonna, who involved everyone and answered all questions. Can be sold out so you may have to wait for the next tour (2 hours later) but a walk over to Humboldthain... More

The honesty and concern of the counter when we wanted to buy the tour in German language was something remarkable and quite useful. We enjoyed a lot the way the guide in English told the history and events making light the impression we would get only "seeing" the place. Very sharp in time and organized, giving to all of the... Our guide Anya- was highly knowledgeable and entertaining. I like the fact that you can just turn up an hour before each tour and get tickets rather than finding they are all sold out online. Our guide Anya- was highly knowledgeable and entertaining I would recommend this if you like history. It is a top Berlin experience

Excellent tour (see Berliner Unterwelten website and on TripAdvisor). Tour 1 Dark Worlds is the one that takes you under the metro station and into a WW2 air raid shelter. You cannot pre-book and must buy tickets on the day, with numbers for each tour limited. Check their website carefully for the tour times in your chosen language and on... More

Nice guide who lead us around in the underground bunkers of Berlin, at this tour you get quite an idea of how they thought and were preparing them selves for a cold war. Impressive to see the underground buildings in Berlin! Worth the admission fee!

Really interesting. Our guide, James, was really engaging and is incredibly knowledgable reeling off historical facts. One minute you will be on the metro platform, the next minute you pass through a non-descript door and then you in a labyrinth of chambers that make the nuclear bunker.

When I came the English tour was sold out, so I took the one in German. I've studied some German, so I could understand quite well, or at least 70% of what they were saying. I had the impression that the English tours are sold out quite fast and you can't make any reservations. So better come early (I would... More

We participated in the Tour 1 bunker tour and the very informative tour lasted about an hour and a half. Gesundbrunnen Bunker is a former bunker located at Gesundbrunnen U-Bahn station - our tour offered lots of information and history about all the various tunnel systems and subterranean walkways beneath the city during WWII and the Cold War Era (on... One of the really impressive memorials against war. Informative and emotionally dense experience. Giving an impression of average peoples live in times of war.
