During my visit in Bremen there were some ugly lotery-stands and the cars representing the prize one could winn right next to the town hall. It was very disturbing. The old town itself is beatiful with many magnificent buidlings but very busy and unfriendly. Althoug it is definitelly interestig it didn't become my favorite place.

We stayed here for one night to break a long journey. The old city is well worth a visit. There are lots of wonderful, old buildings to gaze at as you wander around the pedestrianised area. However, it’s the warm and friendly local people that inspired me to write a review. On two separate occasions, as studied our street map, people asked us whether they could help. Thank you, people of Bremen, for making us feel so welcome!

Bremen was a wonderful surprise... such a pretty town centre... really enjoyed wandering around its buildings. Easy parking and walking distances between sights.

The old city is simply beautifull. You cann enjoy a delicious German beer or a perfect cake on the terrasses and check all the details of all the stunning old buildings. This was our first visit but we will return for sure.

Because of the beautiful half- timbered houses that really amazing and brings the glory of old days that made it so picturesque- hidden in a little side street but very easy to spot and visit.

Cosy and nice in any weather.
Cute, traditional German architecture, looks almost like doll- or gingerbread-houses. Museums and cafes- all you need when being a tourist in Bremen. Simply beautiful.

The Altstadt area in the city of Bremen is an impressive trip back in time. Buildings such as the Rathaus and the cathedral really are pretty spectacular. This area is definitely worth at least a few hours of your time. Reserve some more if you intend to enter the buildings to check out the inner marvels.

The buildings are very well preserved and very beautiful. You are catapulted right back into the 1600s when Bremen was a wealthy and successful member of the Hanseatic League. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
